🧡 "Rise In Love" is the final song from my Synth Opera "Intuition" - a true epic finale for that epic piece of work. It's a battle cry, a celebration of the power of love, an inspiration to overcome mountainous obstacles in life, health and relationships, a promise of infinite support through the whatever lies ahead. "Rise In Love" is meant to remind us to hang on and to fight, because you matter, and "we" matter. Love is so powerful!
🧡 I wrote the lyric for "Rise In Love" in the first few tumultuous, terrifying months after my son's diagnosis with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia almost five years ago.
"I saw a glimpse of the abyss, saw the world without you in it, just for a minute..."
and yes I did...
🧡 I have chosen today to release the video for "Rise In Love" as it is World Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Day, celebrated on 9/22 recognizing the random mutation involving the 9th and 22nd chromosomes resulting in CML. It's an opportunity for advocacy and education, and celebration of continued advances in treatment heading toward a cure!

About Rändi
Acclaimed Wisconsin recording artist and songwriter Rändi Fay defies genre, her songs being described as “poetry set to music.” Her catalogue ranges from acoustic lullabies to jazz standards to electronically orchestrated cinematic ballades, drawing from the intimacy of artists from the past, the rich chord tones and vibrant rhythms of jazz and the nostalgia of storytelling through melody and lyric.
Rändi recently worked with Nashville producer Shane Adams on a series of releases: "Morning Snow" (Nov 2022) and "Lost In You" (Feb 2023). These songs reflect a return to her jazz roots, with a little Nashville magic, along with a continuing exploration of her spiritual leanings.
Rändi also co-writes with Moscow Bassist Dmitry Zaystev for Russian studio band "Rhythmystica," recently releasing the Brit-pop tune "Innocent" (January 2023).
Rändi is a graduate of Boston College (BS Biology), the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. Here more formal music education includes earning a Master’s Certificate in Songwriting through the Berklee College of Music’s online program and certification in teaching the BAST method of vocal instruction.
