Happy Friday!!
And Happy Me!
My new holiday EP "Evergreen" is successfully "OUT!" There are so many factors that are out of my hands- as in "Will Spotify get this? Will the files copy correctly? Have I input the data correctly*? Will the artwork be ready on time? Will the CD's be shipped without a snowstorm...???" Oh yeah- those demons play in my head. BUT YES!!! All is good in the end- and I have a beautiful project that has been released on time and in due time for the holiday, and for you to hopefully add to your list of favorites!!
“Evergreen" includes four seasonal songs that range from elegant and ethereal, to sensitive and powerful, with an overall theme of the staying power of love. Beginning with two secular holiday songs, title track ”Evergreen” and “Winter Wind” follow each other in a story of anticipation and longing. Third is a very wonder-filled, down-tempo “Angels We Have Heard on High,” leading into the last year’s favorite, the majestic “Little Babe.” This project is so unusual and beautiful, and again I credit my incredible collaboration with Aaron Zinsmeister, producer of all and co-writer on the title song “Evergreen,” for helping me bring it to life.
Here is a link for you to listen to the title track: "Evergreen."
There are many ways to listen to "Evergreen." It is on Spotify, Amazon, Apple Music... You can download from my website, ITunes, CDBaby... AND if you are old school, you can order actual CD's (yes those still exist) through my site for $7 each. How about some stocking stuffers?? I can sign them if you wish? Here are some links for your convenience!
Thank you again, my friends. my fans, my family! I wish you a fantastic weekend! If you are in the Green Bay area, come join me at La Vie Boheme in De Pere Saturday evening, 8-10 pm. Let's celebrate my "Evergreen," and more importantly let's honor the veterans who have bravely fought and sacrificed on our behalf.
With love from the cold north!

*Funny story: When uploading content for digital distribution, I classified the song "Evergreen" as having *explicit* lyrics by mistake. Oh boy- that would have been the kiss of death for this beautiful love song! I caught it on proofing the final work, but it took three days of panic and frantic emails to get it corrected. Once something is out on the internet it is OUT-- So yeah. I am soooo glad this project has been given its wings! Now I hope it will fly!!
