HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
I have some really cool and different things to share!
First, I have a really beautiful Christmas single "Joy Whispered" being released the Monday after Thanksgiving, November 26:
"Warm harmonies and lush instrumentation draped in images of candlelight and starlight provide the backdrop to Rändi Fay’s intimate, inspiring version of the Christmas story."
If you like my recent work, you will really love this one! Watch for "Joy Whispered" in ten days! I will be sure to keep you informed!
Second, I don't know how many of you are aware that I was a veterinarian. A hand injury forced me into early retirement, and well... the rest is history... You never know where your life will lead! I still hold animals very, very dear in my life. They are an integral part of my family as you can see above! I still "practice" my love by sharing knowledge and advice (when asked! And that is kinda often... ha-). Recently, I was approached to write a blog post for an animal health site. "Dig in Dogsgiving" is a column about the pitfalls in feeding certain human foods, and some safe, healthy recipes to share with your beloved fur babies (yes, cats too) this Thanksgiving. They all looked pretty appetizing when done! I had to ward off the human vultures in my home while preparing, because though these are safe for human consumption if you are so inclined, the flavor my not be quite what is expected! I recently lost my beloved dog Rudy who is pictured in the article in the link. I made the dinner for his last birthday in October. He chowed! He loved life until he had none left. I miss him desperately, especially in quiet times, but have such fond memories of my boy! Thankfully Gem is still around being her sweet, gentle self, and we get visits from our darling granddogs Josie & Nala too! And kitties Treble and McNugget. AND GRANDCHILDREN!! All so good.
While working on my recent "Supernatural" promotion, I wrote an article "When Music and Medicine Collide" for a music blog. I will share the text of that in a future letter, but truly, there are many places where the two vocations collide, the most clear being sharing an unconditional resolve to dig into being your very best empathetic self when holding someone's heart, whether figuratively or literally, in your hands. There are so many ways we all impact each others' lives.
Happy, Happy Thanksgiving to you. Be good to yourself and to others. Dig in with love!
