Wowza- check out that sky! And if you look really close you will see the tiny buds frosting the tips of the branches... Hello Spring!
Yesterday's morning was so beautiful, fresh, COLD (36 degrees where I am!) and crisp. I am exploring photography- iPhonography to be more accurate- and when I saw the golden light highlighting the new growth on trees and the robin's egg blue sky, I wanted to capture it (thank goodness my phone is never that far away... I know, I know-- at times maybe a little TOO close at hand...)! I hope you can see what I saw!
I love spring, and the blessings of change and renewal that the season promises. For those who celebrate Easter, it is fitting that it is set right at a time when we are so ready! Externally, there is the miracle of the coming summer, of bare feet and warm evenings (I CAN'T WAIT!), leaves and green grass, and all of the other cool (hot) stuff of summer. Internally we can apply this feeling of freshness to re-evaluate emotional baggage, a sort of spring cleaning of anger and regret or other burdensome emotions that drag us down, cleansing via "the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference." It's all good! Fresh and beautiful, inside and out ?.
Speaking of spring cleaning, I have a date with a dust mop this afternoon and the filth on my windowsill is calling! I better get on it!
Happy Easter and Spring Love to you all!
