Every year, I forget how the sun teases us in April, and how beautiful and enticing it is when it decides to shine! We have had sadness lately with the unexpected loss of a dear family friend, and I have been hanging onto every loving glimmer the sun gives out. There is definitely a parable in that: don't miss the moment. Another lesson that has been reinforced for me is regarding organ donation. Our friend was young, healthy, and thankfully had made the decision to be a donor, giving the gift of life to many, many others, and giving we who mourn him comfort in the legacy he has left behind. April happens to be Donate Life Month- I take this opportunity to encourage you to register as a donor. It is simple- just follow this link: DonateLifeNow. For more information: DonateLifeAmerica. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
The news and excitement I share on this website are just like little rays of sun for me. Be mindful, and don't miss the sunbeams, small or large, that are in your life! I came across a lovely quote from Anne Frank: "I firmly believe Nature brings us solace in all troubles." It can- don't miss that moment, when the sun peaks through, when the rain falls, when those daffodils break open- it's all beautiful.
